Appeal for witnesses following fail-to-stop collision in Stratford

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a collision in Stratford last week.

At 9.30pm on Sunday 6 May, a car was in collision with a pedestrian outside the Shell garage on Evesham Road.
The pedestrian, a 47-year-old man, sustained injuries to his arm, leg and pelvis, and was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is currently receiving treatment.
The vehicle, reported to be a black car, failed to stop and is believed to have left in the direction of the town.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen a black car in the area with damage to the front, to please come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 463 of 6 May 2018. Alternatively, information can be given to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
