Bogus caller

 

A report has been received from a local resident  who has been receiving telephone calls over the last week from the 'same voice' (01926192427) who claims he is from BT and wishes to discuss issues with regard to the resident's 'router'.  There is a concern that this type of caller might target others who could  possibly be vulnerable to this form of call.  Incident report: WK20180418-0179

 

Theft

 

A report was received at  0900hrs on 14/04/2018 that unknown offenders had removed approximately 100m of electric fencing, the unit, spools, posts etc. from a field at Darlingscott, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire.  Incident report: WK20180414-0094

 

Between 1800hrs and 0800hrs 13-14/04/2018 at Honington, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, unknown offenders removed a Rutland green fencing unit and battery.  Incident report: WK20180414-0210

 

A report was received at 0638hrs on 15/04/2018 that unknown offenders had forced electric gates and removed a green Suzuki King quad bike and chainsaw from a property at Barcheston, Shipston on Stour.  Incident report: WK20180415-0105

 

Suspicious circumstances

 

A report was received at 0953hrs on 18/04/2018 that an old, rusty,  white VW van was being driven down a cul-de-sac on Armscote Road, Tredington, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire.  The unknown occupants appeared to inspect a vehicle parked there.  No vehicle number was noted.  Incident report: WK20180418-0127

 

A report was received at 1443hrs on 15/04/2018 that a white Mercedes van with number plates BZ67CES was observed in Greenway Road, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire.  This vehicle detail is currently being circulated on Facebook as being observed driven round with the occupants looking into gardens.  Incident report: WK20180415-0238

 

At 0955hrs on 17/04/2018 at Hanson Avenue, Shipston on Stour, a driver was unloading his van when unknown offenders, as he was at the property, entered his van and attempted to remove tools.  Two males in the van drove off in a blue, Ford Transit.  Incident report: WK20180417-0096

 

A report was received on 16/04/2018 that a rope had been cut from around a gate and horses let free at Thornton Chase, Warwick Road, Ettington, Stratford upon Avon.  Incident report: WK20180416-0062

 

Anti-social behaviour

 

A report was received at 2100hrs on 13/04/2018 that a number of youths were shouting and swearing at each other in Sheep Street, Shipston on Stour.  No indication of damage caused.  Incident report: WK20180413-0415

 

Vehicle crime

 

Between 27/03/2018 and 16/04/2018 at Stour Court, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, unknown offenders have removed a Sigma 150/600 camera lens from a Cannon Camera Nikon Fit in a motor vehicle.  Incident report: WK20180416-0251

 

 

Overnight 17-18/04/2018 at Greenway Road, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, diesel and a battery was stolen from a tractor by unknown offenders.  Incident report: WK20180418-0108

 

Burglary - business

 

Sometime between 2300hrs and 0500hrs 14-15/04/2018 at a farm in Cherington, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire unknown offenders have entered a grain store and workshop and removed two Mitsubishi Shoguns,  an air weapon, a chainsaw and some small tools.  Incident report: WK20180415-0094

 

Burglary - residential

 

At 0527hrs on 11/04/2018 at Windmill Way, Tysoe, Warwickshire, a report was given that a property had been broken into and a series 1 BMW stolen by unknown offenders.  The vehicle was subsequently located.  Incident report: WK20180411-0052

 

At 0430hrs on 16/04/2018 dogs began barking at a farm at Burmington when unknown offenders were on the property.  No items reported as having been taken.  Incident report: WK20180416-0117
