Arrests made by armed officers in Exhall

Three boys are being held in custody today following an armed robbery at a newsagent in Armson Road, Exhall.

At 9.50am, firearms officers responded to a report that two men went into the shop and threatened people with a handgun before leaving with cash.

One person suffered minor injuries in the incident.

A 13-year-old boy from Bedworth, 16-year-old boy from Bedworth and a 15-year-old boy from Exhall were all arrested in nearby Bluebell Drive on suspicion of robbery.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information that could help police with their enquiries should call 101 and quote incident 129 of 24 March 2018.
