Suspicious Van in Polesworth and Hurley

Incident 19 of 07/02/18 refers to report that a suspicious van was in Coppice Drive, Dordon at 0152hrs. 2 male occupants and the van had then moved to the Primary School. Registration provided by the informant.
3 patrols were mobilised and were on scene at 0202hrs.
Patrol located the van and checked that they were delivering milk and that all was in order.

Incident 314 of 07/02/18 refers to a call to a sighting of the van in Hurley, following information seen on Facebook. Registration linked to previous incident, so no patrols required to attend.

We would like to thank the public in being vigilant in calling in suspicious incidents to 101 or 999 where justified. On this occasion units were quickly in attendance and found it was the milkmen doing their rounds and there were no concerns.
More Milk have been contacted and confirmed that the vehicles reported by the public are currently used by them whilst they await the supply of new electric milk floats.

We would  thank the public  for their support and ask that you continue to report such incidents  to the police. All reports are taken seriously and provides an accurate picture of where issues are and allows for the deployment of officers effectively.

Whilst posting on Facebook is brilliant to alert other members of the community to suspicious activity, if facts are unknown then please try not to speculate.
