Women threatened in Bedworth

Detectives in Bedworth are appealing for witnesses after two women were threatened by a man near the Prince of Wales pub on the B4029 Bulkington Road, Bedworth on Friday (19 January) evening.

The incident occurred at between 10pm and 11pm on Friday night.

Detective Constable Karl Roberts said: "We believe the man was going past the pub when he became aggressive with the two women and told them that he had a knife. While he didn't produce a knife the incident left the women shaken.

"We're keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident."
