Did you witness robbery in Water Orton convenience store?

Officers are investigating the incident that was reported to have happened on 21 January.

Police were called to the Tesco store on Birmingham Road around 7.20pm, following a report of a man stealing cash from the till.

The man, described as white and aged in his mid 20s, skinny build, around 5ft8 to 6ft tall and wearing a black hooded top, is reported to have queued to pay for goods before pushing a member of staff and grabbing money from the till as it opened.

Nobody was injured during the incident, with the man leaving on pushbike past Digby Hotel in the direction of Smith's Wood.

Anybody who witnessed the incident or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 312 of 21 January.
