Four arrested following Stratford drug warrant

Four people have been arrested following a warrant at a property in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The warrant was part of an intelligence led operation to address the supply and use of drugs in the town.

A quantity of what is believed to be class A drugs was seized during a search of the flat on Masons Way.

Four people were arrested at the flat.

A 35-year-old man from Stratford was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and possession of class A drugs.

A 16-year-old boy from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

A 16-year-old boy from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

A 44-year-old woman from Stratford was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at court.

Sergeant Simon Ryan from the Stratford-upon-Avon Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "This operation is driven by information provided by local people. All information provided helps us to get a better picture of problems in the town.

"If you have any concerns about the use or supply of drugs please let us know."
