Did you see collision in Rugby?

Officers from Rugby are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Railway Terrace on Wednesday (23 August).

The incident happened around 3.25pm opposite the Stagecoach depot, when a 64-year-old man is reported to have been involved in a collision with a blue saloon car as he crossed the road.

The man was taken to hospital and suffered a fractured toe and a severely sprained ankle, and officers are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Police would like to speak to the driver of a blue car seen in the area at the time, who may be unaware of the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 160 of 24 August.
