Did you witness an incident in Nuneaton?

Officers from Warwickshire Police are investigating a suspicious incident in which a man is reported to have been forced into a car in Nuneaton.

The man in his 40s was at a cash point on Queen's Road between 10pm and 11pm on Wednesday (12 July) when he was approached by a number of suspects in a vehicle - thought to be a dark-coloured Ford.

The victim is then reported to have been forced into the car and taken to an unknown location in Birmingham where he was dropped off. He was uninjured.

Police Staff Investigator, Alan Butler, said: "At this time we believe the suspects and the victim may be known to one another. Enquiries are currently ongoing however, and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.

"Any information they have - no matter how insignificant it may seem - could help with our investigation."
