Did you witness an assault in Nuneaton?

Police in Nuneaton have exhausted all lines of enquiry and are now appealing to the local community for information following an assault that took place in the early hours on Saturday 24 June.

It has been reported that between 3am and 4am, three men all aged 20 years had been approached by two unknown men in a car park at the rear of the Fever night club, on Bond Street.

One of the victims received a broken hand as a result of the assault.

PC Hev Clough of Warwickshire Police said: "As part of our on-going investigation we are trying to establish the circumstances that lead up to the incident."

"It is believed that two women had also been with the offenders, and tried to prevent the incident."

"I am therefore appealing to anyone who had been driving or walking along by the car park prior to the incident, or had been in the area at the time to come forward."

Anyone with information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 249 of 25 June 2017. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org
