UPDATE: Detectives appeal for information following assault in Nuneaton on Saturday

Detectives in Nuneaton are urging witnesses to come forward following an assault at a nightclub on Newdegate Street in the early hours of Sunday morning (2 July).

At approximately 1:25am, it is believed a man in his 20s was assaulted inside the premises by another man, also in his 20s. The victim was taken to UHCW by ambulance and is being treated for injuries to his head, including a fractured skull.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses to the assault, to help ascertain the details for their investigation. Should you have any information, please contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident 58 of 2nd July.
