Did you witness a robbery in Bedworth on Friday?

Warwickshire Police is appealing for information following a robbery in Bedworth.

The incident took place on Friday (26 May) at approximately 11:53am near to a small lake on Smorral Lane in Bedworth.

It was reported that a man was assaulted by two men who left him unconscious and without his clothes and mobile phone. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his eye and ribs.

The offenders were believed to have been driving a silver Volkswagen Polo and an unknown silver vehicle, one of which was used to leave the scene by one of the men.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: A white male in his mid-20s, approximately 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall with a slim to athletic build. He had short dark hair and was clean shaven, wearing a short sleeved t-shirt and light blue denim jeans.

Suspect 2: A man in his late 20s to early 30s approximately 5ft 10ins tall with a dark complex and dark hair. He had a slim to athletic build and was wearing sunglasses with dark jeans.  

Any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who may have seen the two offenders around the area at the time, are urged to get in touch with police on 101, quoting incident number 153 of 26 May.
