Coventry man charged after failing to stop for police

Jordan Bench, aged 22 and of Durbar Avenue, Coventry has been charged with:

•    Driving a motor vehicle dangerously
•    Fail to stop vehicle when directed by PC / traffic warden / traffic officer / CSO engaged in regulation of road traffic
•    Theft - other - including theft by finding
•    Use a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance
•    Drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence - endorsable offence

He was arrested in Woodway Lane, Coventry, after he failed to stop for police following a planned road operation in Stratford-upon-Avon yesterday (Thursday, 18 May). Operation Trivium is a week long national operation, targeting those involved in a wide range of criminality across the UK road networks.

He has been released on bail to attend Warwickshire GAP Magistrates Court on Thursday 1 June 2017.
