Police Now

In the Community

Warwickshire Police and Police Now are working together on graduate level entry to a career in the police.

Police Car

Police Now's mission is to transform communities, reduce crime and increase the public's confidence in policing, by recruiting and developing outstanding and diverse individuals to be leaders in society and on the policing frontline.

Police Now gives exceptional graduates like you the opportunity to become police officers and transform challenged and often deprived communities. For many people, crime and the fear of crime is an everyday experience. Join us on our two-year programme, and you'll develop a rewarding career while helping to improve lives, not just for today, but for generations to come.

It's an experience no other graduate employer can match. We'll train you to be a leader in your community as a police officer in a specific area right from the start. That means taking responsibility for the safety of up to 20,000 people. You'll learn negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, emotional intelligence, resilience and leadership - all invaluable skills in targeting criminals and increasing public confidence and all transferable to any profession.

After a 28-day immersion with their allocated force, Police Now officers will immediately become responsible for their own local area and up to 20,000 residents. The neighbourhood role allows for officers to find the root of any local problems and work with stakeholders to make real and positive changes within the community.

Our experienced Leadership Development Officers play a pivotal role throughout. They coach participants to achieve their very best throughout the two-year programme. In addition, Police Now supports and nurtures our officers offering regular training, events and skills sessions. There is no equivalent in mainstream police recruitment.

Working as a police officer is a demanding but rewarding job. We need to know that you understand the demands of such a career and are up for the challenge.

The Police Now process is currently closed.
