Citizens' Academies

Citizens' Academies enable people in our communities to develop an insight into and experience what their local policing teams do to protect them, their families, friends and colleagues from harm.

A YouGov poll commissioned in 2012 discovered that a third of the public (36%) would be interested in attending a Citizens' Academy, and a further 8% would be extremely interested, clearly showing that an appetite exists for this.
