Burglaries at shop premises in Rugby and Bidford on Avon

Burglary, Hillmorton Road, Rugby & High Street, Biidford on Avon

Please be aware of the following burglaries which have occurred at shop premises in Warwickshire over recent days:

Incident 223 of 2 July - Between 10am and 1.30pm on 2 July, offenders entered the insecure office of a charity shop in Hillmorton Road, Rugby and stole a carrier bag containing a banking bag and the takings from the store.

Incident 73 of 1 July - During the night of 30 June into 1 July, offenders stole a JCB from a local farm premises.  At 3.20am, the offenders used the JCB to teat the ATM from the front of a shop in High Street, Bidford on Avon, causing extensive damage.

Three males used chains and the loader to pull the ATM along the road and to place it on a trailer attached to a red vehicle which was waiting on the bridge. Police officers arrive at both sides of the bridge and the offenders used their vehicle to ram a police car and make their escape towards Honeybourne.
