PERFORMANCE STATISTICS

Are we protecting communities from harm?

The priority for Warwickshire Police is to protect communities and protecting people means reducing harm and this will be achieved if we:

  • Reducing the number of people killed on our roads or by crime
  • Reducing crimes of violence and road injuries
  • Protecting people from loss, such as having their possessions stolen
  • Protecting against distress – giving individuals and communities confidence to go about their lives without fear

How do we know if we are protecting from harm?

Crime Mapping

Crime Maps Logo

Members of the public can now access the latest local crime information through a new interactive crime mapping website. The maps highlight force crime data by ward level, above-or-below-average crime rates for the force (based on 1 and 2 standard deviations), allowing for a comparison to the same time the previous year and showing the trend on a monthly basis for the last 12 months.

Users will be able to zoom in on the map to see specific crime rates for their neighbourhood, or search by postcode to identify crimes including:

  • Burglary
  • Robbery
  • Vehicle crime
  • Violence against a person
  • Number of reports of anti-social behaviour
  • and All Crime
