Policing Warwickshire

Initial training is designed to mirror that of regular officers as far as practicable. The first stage consisting of classroom training will cover law, police powers and procedures on either a Saturday or a Sunday over a series of weekends. One full weekend will be devoted to officer protection training.

On the street training will follow under the guidance and supervision of a tutor.

All new recruits will be on probation for a minimum of one year.

Further training will be provided throughout your service as and when required.
