The force has opened the doors to its new Learning and Development Centre which it expects will become a centre of excellence and provide staff with new opportunities to take charge of their own careers.

The new Learning and Development Centre is an innovative project which involves the force moving its training department to premises based within the Volvo Bus and Truck Headquarters at Wedgnock Lane in Warwick.

The 10,000 sqft of floor space, which was acquired from Volvo as part of a unique partnership arrangement, provides the force with a modern, high specification facility that we can be proud of.

The new centre contains purpose built classrooms that include the latest audio and visual technology. The classrooms vary in size to ensure students enjoy a comfortable and spacious environment in rooms that are specifically designed for learning. As well as having our own dedicated facilities, we also have access to some of the shared facilities with Volvo which include a lecture theatre and atrium.
