Four identical passport size photographs of the applicant must accompany each application for a shotgun and firearm certificate. (i.e. four photos for any shotgun application and four photos for any firearm application)

For a shotgun certificate, the back of one photograph must be signed by the applicant, and another should be signed and endorsed (as explained in the application form) by the counter signatory.

The procedure is very similar for a firearm certificate, the only difference being that your two referees must sign and endorse the back of a photograph each.
