The Police National Legal Database – PNLD – is Britain's premier online legal information resource for the entire Criminal Justice community of England and Wales.
PNLD provides the answers – with a unique computerised database of up-to-date legal information, case law and standard offence wordings PLUS a wide range of features that no other legal database offers.
The FAQ database is intended to reduce the number of non-emergency calls to police forces by providing the answers direct to the public via the Internet.
The database contains answers to a wide selection of nationally asked questions and the facility for forces to input local information.
