Being a victim of a crime can be a difficult and confusing experience. An interactive virtual tour has been developed to provide information about the Criminal Justice System process as it relates to a victim of a crime.
The tour aims to guide any victim of crime through the processes that they will encounter, from the time a crime is reported, through the police investigation, prosecution decision making, court processes, and sentencing. It also provides information on the personal support that is available at all stages, including, when relevant, after the court case. The virtual tour aims to make the process that bit more easier to understand and provides a victim with some idea of what they can realistically expect to happen.
