WARWICKSHIRE CRIMEBEAT - FUNDING FOR INITIATIVES BY YOUNG PEOPLE

Warwickshire Crimebeat - provides funding for community-based crime prevention initiatives by young people

Do you want to make a difference in your community on a given issue and can secure the support of like-minded young people. Are you creative, into music, drama, sport, dance, I.T, art or just like being active these are talents that can be but to good use. Can you take up the challenge to get a positive message out to the community? If you answered yes to these questions then Crimebeat may be able to offer you funds to create and develop your project.

Positive about Young People manage the Warwickshire Crimebeat initiative that offers groups of young people the opportunity to access funding up to £1,000 for their chosen community projects.

All the young people and supporting member of staff have to do is;

  • Think of a problem, such as such as bullying, vandalism, graffiti or other community issue and an activity you can do that will reduce it
  • Submit a young person friendly application form – copy attached
  • Wait for the reply (which is within one month of receipt of application)

Develop, implement and finish their chosen project.
