Child Rescue Alert

Once the alert has been sanctioned an email will be released including information such as:

• Description of the child
• Scanned photo of the child
• Details of location and nature of the offence
• Description of the suspect(s)
• CCTV/photo of the suspect(s)
• Details of vehicles used

This email is then sent to all the media (radio, television and newspapers) that have signed up to the Warwickshire Police Child Rescue Alert agreement. A list of partner organisations that have signed up to the agreement can be seen in the section Partners.

The agreement states that these organisations must publicise the information in the exact wording that is sent to them from the press officer.
