Visible Results campaign launched in Warwickshire.
On Monday May 17, 2010 we launched a twelve-week campaign to promote the visible results achieved by Warwickshire Police, in areas such as vehicle crime and anti-social behaviour.
With more crimes solved and fewer crimes committed, we’re working with partners and local communities to make life better for the people of Warwickshire.
For example, last year 8103 crimes were solved and there were 3621 fewer victims of crime across the county.

The campaign will run at force, borough/district and local level, ensuring that the messages are relevant wherever you live in Warwickshire. During the twelve weeks these and other visible results, achieved last year, will feature on posters and postcards, in leaflets and will be promoted prominently on buses, trailers, billboards and phone boxes, to increase public awareness of the protection we deliver.
*In the county last year there were:
*April 2009 to March 2010 compared to April 2008 to March 2009
Chief Superintendent Mak Chishty, force lead for the campaign, said: “As a force we are proud of the visible results achieved. They are made all the more encouraging due to police, partner agencies and local communities all being involved. We will continue to work together in the future to protect people who live; work and travel in the county.”
