The public misconduct hearing into whether two Warwickshire Police officers breached the Police Code of Conduct is scheduled to start at 10am on Monday 5 November at Brownsover Hall, Rugby. The hearing is expected to last for five days but may end sooner.
The hearing will examine how the officers responded to a domestic abuse call in Rugby on 1 February 2005 two days before Colette Lynch was tragically killed by her estranged partner Percy Wright on 3 February 2005.
Members of the public will be able to attend the hearing on a first come first served basis. There will also be limited places available to the media.
Further guidance on attending the hearing, links to press releases and useful information is available by clicking on the links below or right.
A public hearing in the form of an inquest will occur in the future and this will examine all the circumstances that led up to Colette's death.
