The programme started in 2001 with Home Office funding.

The programme is currently funded by Warwickshire Police and through the Warwickshire Local Area Agreement. (LAA)

How Safe is Warwickshire for Business?

In the last 12 months up to 31 March 2010 recorded business crime was DOWN 13%

Within this commercial burglary was DOWN 11%, commercial robbery was DOWN 25% and shoplifting DOWN 9%

Since 31 March 2003 recorded business crime has fallen by 43%, which is 6,677 crimes
