Police would like to remind the public not to rely on others when it comes to reporting suspicious behaviour, which could be linked to terrorism in Warwickshire.
The appeal comes following a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of the Anti-Terrorist Hotline (0800 789 321) - a dedicated number staffed by specialist counter terrorism officers 24 hours a day.
A series of 'Don't Rely On Others' press, billboard and radio adverts urged people to call the number if they had any concerns about unusual behaviour or activity in their neighbourhood.
The security threat in Britain remains classed as substantial and police across the country believe the public can play a vital part in providing information that could help disrupt terrorist planning and save lives.
Assistant Chief Constable Neil Brunton said: "The security situation nationally remains substantial and it is the responsibility of all of us to help protect our communities from harm.
"A small piece of information could prove vital to the police in bringing criminals to justice. One call from a member of the public could make all the difference in stopping would-be terrorists in their tracks.
"We would much rather people ring the hotline, and it turn out to be nothing at all, than miss something important."
Callers to the Anti-Terrorist Hotline can speak in confidence to officers and discuss their concerns. This number however should not be used in emergencies.
Call the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321. In emergencies always call 999.
