POLICESAFE SCHEME - KEYHOLDERS REGISTRATION

INTRODUCTION

Naturally, as a Warwickshire property owner, you want to take every precaution necessary to protect your property.

The PoliceSafe scheme is available to all business, community and residential properties in Warwickshire regardless of whether or not they are fitted with an alarm. It allows 24/7 access to current up to date keyholder information concerning your property, enables us to call out an appropriate person to deal with any situation that may have arisen at or near to your premises.

To provide this service it was decided in 1996 to make it a subscription only scheme thus allowing for regular updates to prevent people being disturbed at unsociable hours only to find out that they were no longer keyholders.

The scheme not only allows you to keep your keyholder details with us, but also other service preferences such as boarding up companies, water/gas/electric suppliers, security companies and even insurance details to enable us to deal with any emergency should we be unable to contact a nominated keyholder. Included in the subscription fee is the ability to provide temporary keyholder details for holiday or other leave periods. At the annual renewal date the existing information held against your PoliceSafe registration is sent out to ensure that it is accurate and up to date.

There are three membership types, Business, Non-Business and Residential for which there are a different fee structures. This is in recognition that business premises are more likely to want to change and update information on a more regular basis than a community or residential property as well as requiring VAT receipts for accounting purposes.

Payment can be made by BACS, electronic payment or cheque.
