You may wish to telephone the police, especially if an incident is in progress. If you feel that someone is in danger, or being threatened with harm, or that the suspects are still in the act of committing a crime, then the emergency 999 system is the best to use.
If you are reporting an incident that has already occurred, and the offenders have left the scene then the one of the non-emergency telephone numbers should be used.
Attend a local police station or office and speak to a police officer or enquiry officer. To find your nearest police station view the police station page in this section.
You can contact your local Police Station or your local Safer Neighbourhood Team via email.
