All members of Warwickshire Police Staff are entitled to terms and conditions in accordance with collective agreements. Our competitive package includes a generous annual leave entitlement and Local Government Pension Scheme.
Salary
Salaries are increased annually with national awards and annual increments within a scale until the maximum of the scale is reached. All advertised vacancies indicate the applicable salary range for the range.
Annual Leave
We offer a generous holiday entitlement, with an additional entitlement granted after 5 years' continuous service. Initial annual leave entitlement ranges from 24 days to 28 days according to the grade you are appointed to.
Hours
Normal hours of work are 37 a week and normal office hours are 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. A flexi-time arrangement is in operation in some departments.
Pension
Employees are eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme, a final salary pension scheme which is contributory at 6% of Pensionable Pay.
Relocation
You may be entitled to a settling in allowance if you are required to move home to take up the appointment. The payment will vary dependent on the particular circumstances up to a maximum 20% of your starting salary. Further details will be available if applicable to the position.
Career Development
All staff are given the opportunity to discuss with their manager, on an annual basis, thier current performance in a Personal Development Review. Any training or personal development needs can be identified and addressed. It also aims to develop better communications, enhance performance, and increase job satisfaction.
Sports and Social Club
A sports and social club is open to those who wish to join. This entitles you to the use of any of the multi-gyms throughout the force and to take part in any of the sporting activities organised.
