Chief Superintendent Neil Brunton is Deputy Director of Local Policing and has operational responsibility for the five Districts and Boroughs within the County. He also has responsibility for Community Protection, Judicial services and the Force Communications Centre.
Neil has a wealth of experience having previously served in Nottinghamshire Constabulary and also with Dyfed Powys Police in Wales. He has previously led on the implementation of neighbourhood policing across the County as well as creating a new domestic abuse strategy.
Neil is currently the lead for a new and innovative public contact strategy which in its first year has seen user satisfaction significantly improve.
