Aim
To Provide you with the Necessary Skills required to access and use STORM at Controller level, to retrieve and input information and create incidents and manage resources

Objectives
By the end of the session the student will be able to:

  • Log onto STORM.
  • Explain the different areas that make up the STORM system
  • Execute searches using various search techniques
  • Retrieve Incident information
  • Update Incidents via the Call Card and send and receive messages.
  • Create Incidents
  • Transfer Incidents
  • Use the mapping system to locate Incidents, resources and addresses
  • Send text messages via the Airwave System
  • Manage and Allocate resources by Airwave and Storm
