To develop an understanding of the responsibilities and duties within Warwickshire Police Equality schemes

Objectives
By the end of the course the students will be able to.

• Understand the duties of Warwickshire Police Race, Gender and disability Equality schemes and how these impact on their role
• Outline the framework of Employment Equality legislation
• Differentiate between the “Employment” & “Service Delivery” requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act
• Explain their legal responsibilities compliant with the Gender Recognition Act
