Warwickshire Against Crime

Two initiatives managed by the Beating Business Crime team are the recipients of £5,000 from Warwickshire Against Crime.

£2,000 has been provided towards the costs of some new metal BusinessWatch signage, which is a major tool in deterring would-be criminals.

A further £3,000 has been provided towards the costs of some new mobile alarms, which are supplied to businesses on an interim basis to supplement their existing security systems and prevent crime re-victimisation.

Peter Guillaume, who heads up the Beating Business Crime team comments “these grants provide a major boost in our efforts to prevent business crime through the use of highly visible signage and the additional alarms will be greatly appreciated by businesses at a time when they are at their most vulnerable”.
