LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL & TRANSGENDER (LGBT) HISTORY MONTH

In celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) History Month.

Warwickshire Police are hosting an event to raise awareness of local & national LGBT issues

Keynote Speakers include:
Dr Charles Bourne
Stuart Hinton
Robin Brabban

The event will be opened by Chief Constable Keith Bristow

Also at this event will be representatives from Warwickshire County Council, Gender Advisory Bureau, Victim Support, Warwickshire Race Equality Partnership, Terrence Higgins Trust plus other invited agencies.

Information will be available from these agencies, together with information provided by the Warwickshire Police LGBT Independent Advisory Group and Warwickshire Police Rainbow Employee Network. Warwickshire Police will be providing information and advice on reporting and tackling hate crime.

There will be an opportunity in the afternoon for a short walk to a monument of local historical interest – for those who wish to take part (bring walking shoes!).
