The Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Board is at the centre of an equalities infrastructure and its role is to set the strategy and ensure that equality, diversity and human rights are monitored, championed and progressed throughout the Force. The board is chaired by the Assistant Chief Constable (Local Policing), and is made up of the following members:
· Chair of the Police Authority Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Panel · Deputy Director for Protective Services · Deputy Director for Local Policing · Deputy Director for Resources
Board meetings are also supported by the attendance of the following:
· Head of Professional Standards · Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Manager · Head of Human Resources
