WHAT IS THE RAINBOW EMPLOYEE (REN)

What is REN about?

REN [Rainbow Employee Network] is a group especially for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Warwickshire police officers and police staff.

It aims to:

Provide a voice for group members on such matters as policy issues and decisions at force level. Provide advice and support to members confidentially and irrespective of whether they choose to be “out” at work. Provide a social network for staff across the force.

When are the social or policy meetings?

We aim to hold meetings every six weeks. These are often followed by a social evening at various venues.

Where are these meetings held?

In order to respect the confidentiality of our members, meetings are held at venues outside of police premises. Once you have joined you will be given full details of when and where these meetings and social events are being held.
